Always a good spot when heading back from boarding. Good atmosphere, decent service and the pizzas are always good especially with that honey!

Delicious pizza! The spinach dip was a great appetizer. Great ambiance- there is a parking lot right behind the building which is convenient. Servers were great and helped us split our bill easily!

Beau Jo's is one of the highlights of my trips to the Denver area, and Idaho Springs in particular. Their menu addresses a variety of dietary needs - vegetarian, gluten free, low carb. The pizza had been the highlight, so I was concerned when my diet changed to low carb. They have bread less pizza options. And, they had a salad bar, not sure when they will bring that back, but their salad options are good. The team have been friendly and amenable to the needs of the elderly. While there is wheelchair access, the tables are tightly placed so it is best to request seating in the area nearest the downstairs restroom, if needing access to a restroom during your dining experience. Overall, I find myself looking forward to the experience each time I visit the Denver area.

Great food !! nachos were delicious and serving size was perfect. Good service. Perfect place to enjoy with family.

Great food, my kids loved it! My husband is from Colorado so he always talked about bringing us here. Place was packed, but there was a tablet to join the waiting list, super easy and the waiting list immediately linked to my yelp account. Once we sit service was fast and friendly. Ambient has pictures of the historic town of Idaho Springs.

Great costumer service! When I ordered the wrong style of crust for my pizza the manager was able to help me out at no extra charger.

A Colorado staple for a reason. Their mountain white crust looks heavenly and my party mates said it was delicious. I can't eat gluten but their GF prairie pie was pretty good. I wouldn't say it's worth the visit if your whole party is gf but that accommodation allows more parties to enjoy their pizza. Also I can't leave a review for Beau Jo's without talking about the honey. It's great! As a Coloradan pizza eater I often honey top my crust, but Beau Jo's honey was the best. It had the perfect texture, thin enough getting an even spread without overpowering the crust but not running all over your fingers. Plus I swear there was some sort of cinnamon action in there which was great. Service was good and fast and the place is enormous so you shouldn't be left waiting for a table long. It's fairly expensive though (30 for each member of my party) so maybe save it for a special treat.

Every year around Thanksgiving, we vacation in the Colorado ski towns, and Beau Jo's has been on our radar for years. This historic pizza joint has always intrigued us, and we finally made it happen this year. The Pros The service was great--friendly and attentive--and the prices were reasonable, especially for the portion sizes. Beau Jo's doesn't skimp on toppings; they're generous, which many people might appreciate. The Cons The pizza itself was just too much. We ordered the Mountain Style, and while I enjoy crust, this was overkill. The double-folded crust results in double the bread, which might be fine if it had some seasoning or even a little oil. But without any of that, it felt bland unless you dunked it in honey--which only adds more calories to an already heavy meal. On top of that, they overdid the toppings for my taste, making the pizza feel overwhelming rather than balanced. My advice? Order the smallest size and go light on the toppings if you decide to visit. The Bottom Line Beau Jo's is a fun and unique stop on your way to Aspen, Beaver Creek, or Vail. While it probably won't be the best pizza you've ever had, it's a neat place to check out, especially if you're hungry for a lot of food. Just don't expect anything extraordinary.

I have been going to Beau Jo's for 40 years and it never disappoints. The pizza with honey accompaniment is always incredible. This time we visited with two dogs, and it was so nice to sit on the outside patio. The apps we usually order are the baked mushrooms and the spinach artichoke dip, which are both phenomenal. This time we tried the buffalo wings, and they were probably our least favorite thing we have had there. But with so many other great options, who cares?!
